How do you retain all that scientific vocabulary?
By tying each term to an image or an example rather than learning definitions. A word attached to a concrete situation sticks; a recited definition is gone before the test. Ask your child to re-explain each term in their own words — it is the most reliable check there is.
Is science revised the same way as maths?
Only partly. There is a body of knowledge to memorise, but the application exercises are trained exactly like maths: by redoing them, not by re-reading them.
